We created and co-produced this webseries. All episodes are in te reo Māori and tell stories from Aotearoa, based on taonga from Te Papa. This illustration, from the series, is by Ariki Brightwell.

MĀKARA PEAK MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK

We worked with a number of collaborators, including Ngāti Toa and Wellington City Council, to create this bilingual visitor experience in Wellington’s Mākara Peak Mountain Bike Park.

PUKEHUIA PARK

We worked with Wellington City Council to create bilingual story panels in Wellington’s Pukehuia Park, which has the city’s first permanent kī-o-Rahi field.

MATAIRANGI NATURE TRAIL

We worked with Wellington City Council on the Matairangi Nature Trail extension. We’re especially proud of the content based on mātauranga and kōrero Māori. The artwork here is by Isobel Joy Te Aho-White.

Mount victoria heritage panels

We’re working with Wellington City Council and Big Catch Creative to upgrade a series of heritage panels on Matairangi (Mount Victoria). The first one is about the extraordinary Dr Elizabeth Alexander.
